Siegel Middle band instructor Anna Laura Williams was surprised by the announcement that she is this year’s recipient of the CMA Foundation’s Teacher of Excellence Award.
Williams was presented the award Thursday morning.
This is the second consecutive year in which a music instructor from Rutherford County has been signaled out for the honor.
