Special Kids Therapy & Nursing Center has invited the general public to come together in support for the 2021 Special Kids Banquet, featuring Olympic gold medalist Scott Hamilton.
In light of current precautions and health concerns, Special Kids organizers have elected to offer this year's program, which is set for Aug. 26, as both an in-person and virtual event for supporters to enjoy. More information about registration, including ticket availability, will be announced soon.
Hamilton is among the most celebrated athletes in the world, winning 70 titles, awards and honors including his membership in the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame and his induction in the United States Olympic Hall of Fame.
Opportunities throughout life have led Hamilton to inspire others as an analyst/commentator, performer, producer, best-selling author, humanitarian, and cancer survivor. He also founded the Scott Hamilton Skating Academy at the Ford Ice Centers of Antioch, TN and Bellevue, TN. He lives with his wife Tracie and their four children at their home in Nashville, TN.
Special Kids is a Christian therapy and nursing center for children with special needs. The Murfreesboro, TN-based ministry started with one child in 1998, and has since grown to serve over 5,000 children 19 counties in middle Tennessee.
