Murfreesboro, TN - Seniors Helping Seniors recently stumbled upon some positive news for local businesses in our area, news that could give small business owners a helping hand while creating more jobs and more opportunities.  Hello Alice, in partnership with GEN, the Small Business Growth Fund, invites applications from small businesses in need of capital to apply and possibly receive help.

Grants of up to $25,000, provided by Mastercard, will be awarded to help small businesses accelerate their growth and achieve their goals in 2023. Applicants must commit to their customers and community and have a clear plan for how the funds will help them achieve a significant growth milestone in 2023.

To be eligible, applicants must be a for-profit business with less than $1 million in 2021 gross annual revenue.

At the start of 2021, Hello Alice awarded $5,000 grants to 50-entrepreneurs from “underrepresented communities.” 86% Of those businesses were owned by persons of color, 72% were owned by a woman and 20% were affiliated with the military. The common thread that all 50 of the businesses had… IMPACT. Each of the 50-businesses that received a grant prospered in a way that positively helped the community locally.

If you feel like your small business stands out from the crowd and impacts the community for the good, then you could be eligible for a grant of up to $25,000. The deadline to apply is on January 6, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. (Central Time / 6 p.m. Eastern Time). For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Hello Alice website: $25,000 Grants for Your Small Business - Hello Alice.
