Music has been a part of newcomer Tori Rose’s life for as long as she can remember. Growing up on the Monongahela River in southwestern Pennsylvania, Tori Rose’s love affair with country music began early while cruising the waters on her family boat. She remembers hearing the legendary Dolly Parton and Hank Williams, Jr. before discovering newer legends like Little Big Town and Carrie Underwood.

Rose recalled, “We used to have karaoke games on the Wii. I was always doing those and singing with them. And my mom said she was always surprised at age three, I was on pitch.”

Because of her natural musical inclination, Rose began piano, ukulele, and guitar lessons at age six. During her early grade school years, she performed in numerous choirs, musicals, and talent shows, where her natural talent began to be recognized. At age 12, she was given the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at the Monster Truck Jam in Pittsburg, and she began voice lessons soon after.

Her family moved to Florida when she was a teen, and she attended a prestigious music conservatory, which allowed her to pursue music full-time. While living in the Orlando area, she was able to perform original sets at various music festivals and venues such as Bloomfest 2020, Virtual Festival 2020, Tin Roof Orlando, Disney Springs’ AMC Theatre, Live Oak Nashville, and Ole Red Orlando, where she won their Battle of the Bands contest in 2021. She was the youngest person ever to win that competition.

COVID-19 started during her freshman year of high school, which made her school go online. But as she began performing more, she continued doing online high school and graduated a year and a half early.

Last year, the now 20-year-old left Florida to pursue her dreams in Nashville, where she has been working hard in the studio. Rose has recorded a series of singles, including her new autobiographical release, “17.” Recounting a pivotal year in her life, the self-penned single has connected with listeners alongside the music video, which exclusively premiered with Wide Open Country.

With the recent release of “Your Loss,” Tori continued sharing her authentic stories with a captivated audience. The words, “I may be young, but I ain’t naïve,” share the song's sentiment.

The song, which wasn’t written about anyone in particular, foreshadowed her previous relationship. “It kind of predicted the future,” the singer joked.

Being a songwriter from the onset, Rose only wrote alone until she moved to Nashville. She stated, “I still write a lot on my own, and I write a lot with my producer. But I'm just now starting to reach out to more people and write with others.”

She is also keen to write for other artists. “It helps my creative process by taking a break from writing for myself.”

Most recently, the rising songstress released her newest single, “If Drinking Were A Sport.”

Rose penned the song which Jimmy Ritchey produced. The twangy, sassy song has the right mix of traditional and contemporary music vibes. Unlike “Your Loss,” “If Drinking Were A Sport” was written about a real-life person.

"I wrote [the song] for all the girls who've dated that one guy who puts partying as their first priority. I think they'll relate to the song and get a good laugh from the lyrics," shared Rose.

While the song was about someone she knew from Florida, the music video was shot in Nashville. Directed by Justin Mayotte, "If Drinking Was a Sport" playfully jabs at bar culture and hilariously relatable characters, whom we have all encountered at some point in our lives.

Celeb Secrets Juliet Schroder stated, “With its infectious energy, sassy storytelling, and unforgettable melodies, this track solidifies Tori Rose as a rising artist with a knack for keeping it real.”

Rose, who recently opened for Aaron Tippin and Trace Adkins, has the talent, determination, and ambition required to make it in this competitive town called Music City. Expertly balancing young-hearted romanticism with a sophisticated style, Rose is just getting started in what is sure to be a promising career.
