Deborah Roberts will share her knowledge as the guest speaker of "How to Start an Internship for Your Small Business," The Rutherford County Black Business Network announced.

The event will be held from 6:15-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 at Tennessee Technology Center in Murfreesboro. This event will be the first of RCBBN's first event of a year-long small business training series curated for small businesses and minority businesses.

Roberts will be sharing information and resources for small businesses interested in starting an internship program for their small business. She will also be sharing information and resources about the Tennessee Small Business Development Center.

Deborah Roberts, who serves both the TSBDC and MTSU where she is Internship Director, has community service that includes RutherfordCABLE, the Murfreesboro Half Marathon Board of Directors and the American Cancer Society. Roberts is a graduate of MTSU with a business administration degree in accounting.  

This FREE event is open to all small business owners in Rutherford County. Please RSVP as seating is limited. Childcare is available onsite for $5 per child ages 18 months & over and must be paid online to secure a spot.
