The end of the year tends to be slow for exciting property transactions, and that held true in 2018.
The largest commercial transaction was for a nearly 10-acre lot on, according to the Rutherford County Property Assessor's website, Eleanor Way off Memorial Boulevard, but a look at the GIS map shows it is also accessible as a flag lot between 3211 and 3221 Overhill Court in Murfreesboro's Brookhaven Place subdivision.
Right now it's single-family zoned residential. Will it stay that way? Or will a developer squeeze a planned unit development on the acreage?
It's also worth noting that 18 lots were sold to Ole South Properties in Shelton Square. That's the housing development that is being constructed where Bible Park USA was proposed for the Blackman community.
As for the most expensive house, it's new construction, so little can be found about it on the internet or public records. But, by the price tag, it sure sounds nice.
