MT will hit the road on Sept. 28 to take on Iowa of the Big Ten. The game will be shown on either ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU but a game time will be decided at a later date.
The Blue Raiders return home on Oct. 5 to host C-USA foe Marshall at 2:30 PM in a game to be aired on CBS Sports Network on Facebook. MT will then head to FAU the following week for a 3 PM kick on ESPN+.
MT will play at North Texas on Oct. 19 and that contest will begin at 3 PM on Stadium before the Blue Raiders return to Murfreesboro on Oct. 26 for Homecoming against FIU. The Blue Raiders and Panthers will be shown on the NFL Network.
The Blue Raiders will then appear on ESPN3 at Charlotte on Nov. 2 before playing Rice at home for the very first meeting on Nov. 16 in a contest shown on ESPN+. MT will close out its home season on Nov. 23 against ODU at 3:30 PM on ESPN3, then wrap up the regular season at WKU on Nov. 30 in a 1 PM kick-off on ESPN+.
