Siegel High School Beta Club's leadership team recently won three awards — Rapid Response Challenge, Lead Outside the Box and Outstanding Leadership School — at the national Beta Club Regional Leadership Summit.

The regional event, which featured club members from several states, took place in Sevierville.

Siegel qualified for the National Beta Club Convention in Fort Worth, Texas, which will take place June 2020.

One of the goals of the summit is for students to develop skills while working in groups to accomplish a collective goal, according to a release. Judging criteria is based upon creativity, collaboration, communication, critical thinking and presentation skills.
