La Vergne man charged with solicitation of a minor

An investigation by Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Special Agents with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force has resulted in the arrest of a La Vergne man.

On Oct. 1, TBI agents received information about an individual who was engaged in sexually illicit conversations on an online platform. During the investigation, agents developed information that identified that individual as Kyle Rawson of La Vergne.

On Oct. 10, with the assistance of officers with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office ICAC Task Force and La Vergne Police Department, TBI Agents arrested Kyle Ray Rawson, 30, and charged him with one count of Solicitation of a Minor and one count of Soliciting Sexual Exploitation of a Minor by Electronic Means.

He was booked into the Rutherford County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
