With the 2019-20 season opener right around the corner for the Middle Tennessee Men's Basketball team, broadcast partners for the Blue Raiders' regular season games were announced Wednesday morning.
Out of 27 games leading up to Conference USA Bonus Play and the postseason, C-USA's broadcast partners or the partners of Middle Tennessee's road opponents have picked up 21 games to be televised or streamed on their networks.
Four of the Blue Raiders' games away from Murphy Center are set to be nationally televised on the ESPN family of Networks, with all three games of the Myrtle Beach Invitational (Nov. 21-24) being aired on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPNews. MT's road contest at Ole Miss (Dec. 14) has also been selected by ESPN's SEC Network.
Conference USA's top rivalry game is also set to air on a national broadcast this season, as the Blue Raiders and WKU Hilltoppers will battle Jan. 11 inside Murphy Center live on CBS Sports Network.
Middle Tennessee and in-state rival Belmont will meet for the 16th consecutive season to close out college basketball's opening month. The Raiders and Bruins square off on Stadium on Nov. 30.
Non-conference road contests against Lipscomb (Nov. 9), Coastal Carolina (Nov. 18) and Murray State (Dec. 7) will be streamed live on ESPN+. Also selected by ESPN+ are league play match-ups with Old Dominion (Jan. 2), Charlotte (Jan. 4), Marshall (Jan. 9), Florida Atlantic (Jan. 16), FIU (Jan. 18), LA Tech (Jan. 23), Southern Miss (Jan. 25), UTEP (Jan. 30), UTSA (Feb. 1), North Texas (Feb. 6) and UAB (Feb. 12 and Feb. 15).
Middle Tennessee will conclude the regular season with four C-USA Bonus Play match-ups that could potentially add to their TV schedule, with CBS Sports Network, Stadium and ESPN all having the option to pick up games during the final portion of Conference USA's regular season.
ESPN+ will also broadcast the first round of the Conference USA Championship while Stadium will show all four Conference USA Championship Quarterfinal games on Mar. 12. CBS Sports Network has the rights to the C-USA Semifinals (Mar. 13) and Finals (Mar. 14).
The balance of Middle Tennessee's home games that are not selected by a broadcast partner will be live streamed on the subscription based C-USA TV platform.
