One wanted suspect who barricaded himself inside his house was served with an outstanding warrant for violation of community corrections, a sheriff’s supervisor said.

Christopher Barrow, 29, of Keystone Avenue was taken into custody after deputies, negotiators and SWAT Team deputies after he refused to exit his home, said Patrol Lt. Kenneth Barrett.

Sgt. Derek Oeser and other negotiators attempted to speak with Barrow (below) with no response.

The SWAT team responded and used tear gas to convince Barrow to come outside. He was taken into custody.

Barrow is being held without bond at Rutherford County Adult Detention Center. A hearing is set Jan. 9 in Circuit Court.
