La Vergne Farmers Market

The City of La Vergne is taking extra precautionary measures to keep everyone safe and still operate the La Vergne Farmers Market this summer despite the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a press release from the city.

The market will begin on Tuesday, June 2 at Bicentennial Park, located at 5093 Murfreesboro Rd. The market will continue every Tuesday from June through September, from 3-7 p.m.

Vendors are being asked to set up their tents a minimum of 8-10 feet apart and only sell agriculture items for the month of June. Parks and Recreation staff will reevaluate every month to determine if it is appropriate to begin allowing vendors to sell handmade, homemade items.

Applications are available online and are being accepted. For questions on registering for the market, contact Event Coordinator Robert Rayburn at rrayburn@lavergnetn.gov.
