SmartBank has opened its newest branch in Murfreesboro, the second of two locations in Rutherford County and the third in Middle Tennessee. 

"We're excited to open another full-service branch that will help us better meet the needs of the Rutherford County community," said David Scott, SmartBank Senior Vice President, Area Executive. "We're well-positioned to help fuel the local economy by addressing the financial needs of individuals and businesses across our community."

According to Scott, key team members at the new location include a seasoned lending team led by Brad Byrd, Richard Fluharty and Freda Morgan. Other leadership positions are held by Sue Ellen Feathers, Loan Assistant; Courtney Gobble and Jill Showalter, Senior Financial Services Representatives and Sandra Mason, Branch Manager.

"The team we have assembled is experienced, collaborative, and client and community-focused," said Scott. "Their leadership and ongoing contributions will be key in SmartBank's future plans for growth in Middle Tennessee."

The new branch is located at 2108 Medical Center Pkwy.
