According to a Facebook post from the Murfreesboro Police Department, Murfreesboro Fire and MPD personnel responded to a Haz-Mat situation at 10 N. Public Square in downtown Murfreesboro around 6:30 p.m. Sept. 9.
A letter was sent to a business containing a powdery substance, which turned out to be oyster shell calcium used to feed chicken to harden their eggs.
The scene was given the all clear.
