The Smyrna Police Department confirmed it responded to a shooting overnight Sept. 23 at 833 Industrial Blvd in Smyrna.

According to a statement from the department, two individuals suffered gunshot wounds and both were transported to area hospitals. One individual has been treated and released, one remains hospitalized.

The investigation is still active. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
