Two suspects were charged with aggravated robbery Thursday of Lascassas Market earlier in the day on Lascassas Highway, a Rutherford County Sheriff’s detective said.

Suspect Jahkeem Elias Wiley, 20, of Memphis allegedly robbed the clerk at gunpoint, said Detective Kyle Norrod. Store video showed Wiley allegedly pointing the handgun at the clerk during the robbery.

A second suspect, Deshun Vantez Stinson, 20, of Lascassas Highway in Murfreesboro was also charged with aggravated robbery of the market.

“This was a joint effort with the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division and Patrol Divisions and Murfreesboro Police Department,” Norrod said.

Murfreesboro Police Detective Jacob Fountain charged Wiley with two unrelated aggravated robberies. Other charges are expected by Murfreesboro Police detectives.

The Sheriff’s Office thanks citizens for their interest in the case.

Stinson was released after posting a $12,000 bond. Wiley is being held on $30,000 bond. Hearings are set for Dec. 13 in General Sessions Court.
