BoroPride recently announced the lineup for the 2021 MainStage, the annual festimate and concert event is on Saturday, Aug. 21 at Cannonsburgh Village, just a few blocks from historic downtown Murfreesboro. 

BoroPride Festival begins at 3 p.m., the MainStage concert event at 5 p.m. This annual festival includes food trucks, local vendors, kids section, live music and entertainment. 

The eclectic lineup includes: 

Lincoln Layne

Lincoln Layne is a blues/rock outfit from right here in Murfreesboro. Amber Layne Johnson and Jeremy Lincoln Sargent began writing music together about 10 years ago and added Aaron Belknap and Zane Hicks a few years later. Their first studio album, Kill Your Darlings, was released last year. They've been touring Tennessee and Arkansas and are looking forward to returning to the stage post-COVID. Many thanks to Boro Pride for the honor of playing at the festival this year. Get ready for some River Rock, y'all.

Mel Bryant & the Mercy Makers

Nashville based rockers Mel Bryant & the Mercy Makers give no mercy to the powers that be. Spanning across genres of old and new, drawing inspiration from Fleetwood Mac and the Allman Brothers to Green Day and Phoebe Bridgers, The Mercy Makers sing of self love, justice, deprecation, and angst with a refreshingly queer feminine energy often underrepresented in the rock and punk world.

Fable Cry

The theatrical rock band from Nashville, Fable Cry draws inspiration, both musically and poetically, from all things imaginative, mythical, and spooky. With a colorfully haunting melody and a flourishing sweep of the hand, they will weave their strand of tales and take you with them on a wild ride, from the eerie solitude of a dark forest to the wily seas; from the tippy top of a wind swept mountain pass to the grittiest alleyways of sordid scum.

Flummox

Since Flummox formed in a rundown trailer near the garbage dump off of an old Tennessean Highway, the band has been causing audiences to fall into euphoric fits of shock for close to a decade. Branding their style as ‘genre-fluid’, Flummox combines twisted, musical-theatre tactics with avant-garde fusion & extreme metal stylings set with strange hooks that stick with you well past their welcome.
