Early this morning on Northwest Broad Street and Northstar Drive in Murfreesboro, a driver of a small white automobile appeared to have hit a semi-trailer on the left side becoming wedged and pinned underneath the tractor trailer.

The driver had to be cut from the car, according to Murfreesboro Police. The driver of the white car was taken to Saint Thomas Medical Center for treatment of injuries. The driver of the semi appears to be unharmed by the collision.
