Special Kid's 10th annual race is set for Oct. 30

Special Kids 15K,5K, and 1 mile Fun Run

Let's Dream Big by participating in the 10th annual Special Kids Race (5K, 10K, 15K, and 1 Mile Fun Run), which will start at 7 a.m. at the Murfreesboro Medical Clinic behind the hospital in Murfreesboro and continue through the Stones River Battlefield to some fast and flat terrain off of Wilkinson Pike and Old Nashville Highway.

All race proceeds go directly towards providing therapy and nursing services to children with special needs at Special Kids Therapy & Nursing Center.

15K and 10K races are both currently open for registration at $55, 5K at $50, One-Mile "Fun Run" for children and families at $25, as well as a "Virtual Runner" option for at-home participants at $25.

The 2021 Special Kids Race will be hosted by presenting sponsor, Murfreesboro Medical Clinic and Surgicenter. Organizers would like to thank all sponsors that have been a part of this event and its impact over the last decade.

The ultimate priority of the Special Kids team, including organizers behind the 2021 Special Kids Race, will be to promote a safe experience for all of our participants following the guidelines set forth by the CDC and state health officials.

Special Kids is a Christian therapy and nursing center for children with special needs. The Murfreesboro, TN-based ministry started with one child in 1998, and has since grown to serve over 5,000 children 19 counties in middle Tennessee.
