Two hundred small stuff animals from Kohls Cares were recently donated by the Exchange Club of Murfreesboro to the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office, Rutherford County Fire Rescue Department, Rutherford County EMS, Murfreesboro Police Department, and Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department.

The stuffed animals will be used when necessary should a child (and sometimes adults) require comforting during a trauma situation, hopefully calming the child in an anxious / nervous status.

This is part of the civic minded organizations’ Community Service Program. Other Exchange Club Programs of Service are Youth Activity, Americanism, and its National Project is The Prevention of Child Abuse.
