In neighboring Bedford County, multiple mailboxes have been located and authorities would like to reunite them with their rightful owners. However, it’s not known exactly where each mailbox came from, other than the numerical address, minus the road.

The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office reports that most of the mailboxes appear to have been vandalized, stolen and later discarded in random places. It’s not known if the mailboxes were taken from addresses specifically in Bedford County or from roads in other nearby counties. That said, if you’re missing a mailbox and you live in Bedford County or near Bedford County, you can swing by the Sheriff’s Office and possibly pick up your missing mailbox.
