Sunnington Assisted Living sells for $8.7M

Previously owned and known as Sunnington and Sunnington II, Inspirit Senior Living has acquired the two seniors housing facilities in Murfreesboro for $8.7 million in January.

Inspirit Rutherford MC Propco LLC bought Sunnington Assisted Living,1658 Lascassas Pike, for $4.8 million and Sunnington II, 2045 Gold Valley Drive, for $3.9 million on Jan. 25.

Negotiations for the sellers were handled by Murfreesboro resident Dr. Suresh C. Saraswat, who is president and CEO of the Sunnington corporations.

Designed by award-winning architect George Berardi, the68-unit assisted living facility sits on five acres; the 26-unit memory care facility is across the street.

Now called the Rutherford Assisted Living and Rutherford Memory Care, they mark the fifth and sixth acquisitions for Virginia-headquartered Inspirit, a new venture headed by industry veteran David McHarg.

Meritage Homes of Tennessee bought 1620 Veterans Parkway in Murfreesboro for $2.5 million from Achiever Development on Jan. 23.

Bob and Marie Parks bought 5 acres on Blackman Road from the Wright Family Real Estate Partnership on $1.1 million for Jan. 25.

Oreof 2017 Ruby LLC bought 2675 Highwood Blvd. in Smyrna for $865,000 from Ruby Tuesday Inc. on Jan. 29.

Ralph and Joni Cook bought 118 acres at 9034 Couchville Pike in XX for $750,000 from the Kathleen Ghee Vincion Estate on Jan. 30.

JTMCBRADLEY bought 116 Longview St. in Mount Juliet (but technically in Rutherford County) for $650,000 from Siener Properties on Jan. 29. The lot is 119 acres.

Harrington Homes bought 11 lots in the Enclave at Liberty Village in Murfreesboro for $715,000 on Jan. 23.

Jesus and Maria Barrios bought five lots in Villas at Rutherford, 2961 S. Rutherford Blvd. in Murfreesboro, for $607,250 from Alpha Leasing on Jan. 30.

LGI Homes-Tennessee bought 18 lots in the Cottages of Lake Forest in La Vergne for $498,788.64 on Jan. 30.

Lennar Homes of Tennessee bought eight lots in Kingdom Ridge in Murfreesboro for $465,000 on Jan. 25.

Construct-all USA bought five lots on Liberty Valley in Murfreesboro for $333,335 on Jan. 29.

Four Corners of Tennessee bought five lots in the Enclave at Liberty Village for $325,000 on Jan. 30.

Joe and Tammy Garrett bought six residential lots at 211 Eastland Ave. in Murfreesboro for $100,000 on Jan. 24.

Most expensive houses

Keith and Jane Adams bought 1502 Downing Court in Murfreesboro for $538,900 on Jan. 23. The home in Breckinridge features four bedrooms and five bathrooms in 3,735 square feet. It also offers hardwood floors throughout, a two-story stone fireplace, and a three-car garage, according to Zillow.com. Check out the photo gallery on Redfin.

Randy Ritter bought 3385 E. Compton Rd. in Murfreesboro for $499,900 on Jan. 30.

Jerry and Daniele Ross bought 2206 and 2210 Lionheart Drive in Murfreesboro for $455,000 on Jan. 25.

Robert and Ann Apple bought 609 Andy Peach Drive in Murfreesboro for $446,000 on Feb. 2.

Jerrod and Tyra Pilgrim bough 1455 Ansley Kay Drive in Christiana for $432,500 on Jan. 23.

Timothy and Susan Stephens bought 2807 Kipling Court in Murfreesboro for $427,508 on Jan. 29.

Gregory and Lisa Gibb bought 2720 Bertram Court for $427,500 in Murfreesboro on Jan. 23.
