Bradley Academy is proud to present Annie Jr. at The Center for the Arts. Performances are scheduled for March 16, 17, 23 & 24 with Saturday matinees beginning at 2:30 and evening shows beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Bradley student, Markell Waobizkeze, was named Best Actor at the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta for his role of Rooster Hannigan in Annie Jr.
The community is encouraged to join Bradley Academy for their award-winning portrayal of Annie Jr. In addition to the Best Actor award, Bradley students won Best in Music at the Junior Theatre Festival.
“Annie Jr. is a quick tempo play and the age range of characters makes this an ideal production for students,” says Jenny Ortiz, Bradley Academy Principal.
The show places Annie, Daddy Warbucks and Annie's mutt, Sandy, in New York City during the Depression. As an infant, Annie had been abandoned on the front steps of The New York City Municipal Orphanage with a note from her parents promising to return for her someday. Life in the orphanage had been rough under the strict hand of Miss Hannigan, but Annie’s life was about to change.
Tickets are $8 and can be purchased at Bradley Academy in advance or at the door. For additional information, please call Bradley Academy.
