A 38-year-old man has been arrested for his alleged role in the death of a woman found Feb 17 on West College Street in Murfreesboro.
On Saturday, Feb. 17, officers from the Murfreesboro Police Department responded to a possible deceased person found on Hope Way near West College Street.

Upon arrival, officers located the body of Blair Yvonne Alexander, 23.
Daniel Michael Conklin has been arrested and charged with crimes related to her death. He is facing charges of Vehicular Homicide, Tampering with Evidence and Leaving the Scene of an Accident Resulting in Death, the Murfreesboro Police announced.
The investigation revealed the suspect had spent time with the victim Feb. 16 both at her hotel room and in his vehicle.
He was booked into the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office and is currently out on $48,000 bond awaiting court proceedings.
