Blackman standout receiver Trey Knox announced that he has committed to play at Arkansas via his Twitter account (twitter.com/Fbu1Tk).
One of the top high school players in the state of Tennessee, Knox's commitment to Arkansas follows standout teammate, cornerback Adonis Otey's commitment to play for the Razorbacks earlier this summer.
247sports.com's Composite Rating, which compiles prospect rankings and ratings by the major media recruiting services, has Knox rated as a 4-star recruit. The site also has him listed as the No. 191 overall prospect and the No. 29 wide receiver prospect in the nation.
The Blackman star is a big target standing at 6-foot-4, 205 lbs. His physicality has led to him playing not only wide receiver, but he has taken his fair share of direct snaps on offense as well. Knox also moves over to the defensive side of the ball occasionally.
Knox's commitment brings the total number of NCAA FBS-level commits on Blackman's roster to three. Otey, Knox, and Micaleous Elder, who committed to play at MTSU early in the summer.
Blackman continues to turn out top-level talent. One of last year's top area players, Master Teague, has played in three games and scored one touchdown for the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes this season.
You can catch Knox, Otey, and Elder and the rest of the Blaze back in action Friday, Oct. 12 at 7 pm at the Inferno vs. Cookeville.
