Smyrna High School senior Nathan Richeson was recently selected to represent Tennessee as a nominee for the National U.S. Presidential Scholars Program.

The Tennessee Department of Education received more than 100 applications and according to Melissa Haun, coordinator for Mathematics at the Department of Education, “the selection process was highly selective.”

Selections for the National U.S. Presidential Scholars Program will be announced in April and winners will receive an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. in June 2019.
