Murfreesboro Fire Dept adds 6 to force

Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department welcomed six new firefighters this week, according to a press release from the department.

Jeffrey Adam, Blake Foster, Forrest Harvey, Phillip McLain, Kelson Mulcahy, and LaTia Sneed began their three-week orientation on Monday, July 8.

"We are pleased to add these six to our MFRD family," said Fire Rescue Chief Mark Foulks. "I know they will do great things, and I look forward to seeing them in action."

Upon completing orientation, the firefighters will receive their station assignments on their respective shifts.

Jeffrey Adam, Emergency Medical Technician

Phillip McLain, Paramedic

4 years of fire service experience
Married to Mary
Hobbies include: Woodworking and camping.

Kelson Mulcahy, Paramedic

23 years of fire service experience
Married to Erica May
Hobbies include: Cycling, hiking, and kayaking.

LaTia Sneed, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician
