Wise cracks and plot twists fly faster than Santa's sleigh in the yuletide whodunit, "If It's Monday, This Must Be Christmas." 

The interactive comedy is being performed Dec. 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20 by the theater group Consider This Inc., at the Mills-Pate Arts Center, 7120 Old Nashville Hwy, Murfreesboro.

The holiday mystery takes place in a department store. Christmastime rolls around and our down-and-out gumshoe, Harry Monday, played by Jordan Taylor, is short of cash as usual. He's been walking dogs for a few bucks when Harrigan's department store has its payroll stolen. 

Loretta Mondello, played by Patricia "Pixie" Convertino, the store manager, has complete faith in Harry pulling this one off. After all, she's his mother! Not only is the payroll missing but, crime of all crimes, somebody kidnapped Santa Claus! The store's St. Nick has gone missing, along with the money and bonuses. And Harry has only one day, Christmas Eve, to solve the case. 

Other cast members are Jeff Mize, Jim Trasport, Ben Alley, Catherine "Cat" Burford, Theresa Alley, Monica David, Rebecca Gibbs, Emma Laughlin, Brynn Welch, Steve Laughlin, and Charlie Bellows. 

The performance is directed by R.J. Palhegyl. Assistant director/stage manager is Sarah Wells. Stephen Thompson operates the sound and lights. 

Consider This, Inc. is a community theater group based in Rutherford County dedicated to spreading appreciation for the performing arts and providing the opportunity for local aspiring actors to audition and participate.
