The 7th annual Special Kids Race (15K, 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run) was held Saturday, March 17 at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic. 

More than 2,800 runners coursed through the Stones River Battlefield on the fast and flat terrain off of Wilkinson Pike and Old Nashville Highway. All race proceeds go directly towards providing treatment to children with special needs.

Special Kids is a Christian therapy and nursing center that started with one child in 1998 and has grown to serve over 3,700 children from 19 counties in middle Tennessee.
